5699B comes with all the standard features that USR modems are well-known for. Quick Connect, Control Center, Internet Call Notification etc are all there to please the home audience. Moreover, the limited warranty extends over to a period of 2 years unlike 90-day warranty for 5660A.
Fax software is provided, that can easily turn your PC into a fax receving and sending machine at 14.4 kbps.
This modem also requires an available PCI slot on your motherboard for installation.
